About Me

Hi, I’m Stacie J. Whitaker-Harris—a published author, certified recovery and peer support specialist, mindfulness coach, and artist. My journey has been shaped by over 20 years of writing, storytelling, and community advocacy. From publishing essays and poems as a middle schooler to contributing to university newspapers and appearing in local news, writing has always been my passion.

As a woman of faith with a Master’s in Law (business focus) and a Bachelor’s in Nonprofit Management, I am committed to empowering others through my words, art, and coaching. In 2020, I discovered my love for painting, which began as a form of therapy and blossomed into a creative outlet, with many pieces sold and displayed in local contests. My work reflects a dedication to healing, growth, and honoring the God-given potential in all of us.

What Is *Embracing Me*?

Embracing Me is more than a blog—it's a journey of self-discovery, healing, and honoring the divine within. Here, I share my life experiences—good, bad, and transformative—to inspire and uplift. I spent years hiding my gifts and stories out of fear. But through faith, I’ve chosen to embrace who I am and share my God-given talents with the world.

From essays and poetry to coaching and peer support, my mission is to guide you toward wholeness and inspire you to live fully and freely in harmony with your mind, body, and spirit.

Join the Journey

Whether you’re looking for inspiration, seeking coaching, or simply curious about my books and art, I invite you to explore and connect. Let’s walk this path together toward healing, restoration, and empowerment.

1st Friday's @Terra Cafe' ~ October 5, 2012

THIS Friday & every 1st Friday from 7pm - 10pm

It may be raining but NOT my will...

We all like when the sun shines because we can hang out, go to the beach...
AND, there's that something special about the sun that invigorates us.  Most of us prefer not to have the cloudy days.  Although we know the rain is necessary for cleansing and for the growth of things we need like the flowers, trees, grass, herbs, fruits and vegetables, we still would rather have the sunshine.

Many of us are the same way in our lives. We want all the good times but stray away from the bad.  We even run at the first sign of trouble not realizing that the bad times are just as important for our growth as the rain is to the earth and all we gain from the sudden down pours.

Embrace the good, the bad, the highs, the lows, the thunder, the lightening, the sudden down pours and the constant drizzles just as much as the sunshine and watch what grows!

Romans 5:3-5 (NCV) says, "...these troubles produce patience, and patience produces character and character produces hope. And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts..."

SCRIPTURES:

Psalm 62 ~ NIV

Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.
2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
3 How long will you assault me?
Would all of you throw me down—
this leaning wall, this tottering fence?
4 Surely they intend to topple me
from my lofty place;
they take delight in lies.
With their mouths they bless,
but in their hearts they curse.

5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him.
6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
7 My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.
9 Surely the lowborn are but a breath,
the highborn are but a lie.
If weighed on a balance, they are nothing;
together they are only a breath.
10 Do not trust in extortion
or put vain hope in stolen goods;
though your riches increase,
do not set your heart on them.

11 One thing God has spoken,
two things I have heard:
“Power belongs to you, God,
12 and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.”

Psalm 46 ~ NKJV

God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

8 Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has made desolation's in the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.

10 Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

PRAYER:
Most Holy and Loving God, Our merciful Lord, seems we have far to many reasons to focus on the clouds of life instead of the beauty. I pray that even as You allow the rainbow to show itself as a reminder of Your promises, tender love and gentle care for Your creations, that we will receive Your word as truth.  Thank You for considering us enough to provide shelter in times of storms.  Thank You for guiding our footsteps that when puddles are deep we can maneuver through the dirt and still come out clean, not getting stuck or becoming stagnant.  Thank You for growth even when weeds and thorns spring up with us. And Lord, I certainly thank You for the joyful and peaceful times when the air is calm and still.  Father, I receive both, for I know in the end there is a yielding of both fruit and increase. Now Lord, bless the eyes of the one who reads this post.  Encourage their souls and enlighten them to see the storm differently from this day forward.  In Jesus name I humbly pray, Amen

I am NOT invisible...Am I???

Quite often we look at the people around us and derive preconceived notions about who they are having no relevance or factual information to support our thoughts other than what our eyes see and our ears hear.

However, I would like to suggest that we are often unable to see the true nature of the people who are before us. Why? Because so many of the Men, Women, boys and girls we encounter are wounded, confused, misguided people carrying weights they never asked to carry.

These people represent the young boy who lost his father before the tender age of twelve and now walks in anger, confusion, loneliness and constant frustration.

These people look like little girls who never had an opportunity to hear the words, "you're beautiful" aside from them being attached to some sort of perverted sexual deviant act from people who were supposed to protect her.

These people look like Women who gave into the pressure of marrying because they did not want to have babies out of wedlock and thus was thrust into adulthood and marriage which led to them being abused by Men who pledged to love them forever simply because he was not truly ready for all the responsibility that came his way.

These people look like Men whose Mother's abandoned and rejected them when they were mere boys needing her affection and attention...and she did so because his dad left and she was left with the constant reminder of "the mistake" she made.

These people whom we harshly judge, ridicule, scoff and laugh at, talk about and turn our noses up at are us.  We too, each of us has our own unresolved issues or things that we have indeed overcome.  Nothing makes them worse or better than us and nothing makes us better or worse than them.  Be mindful of how you view others.  Take a moment to speak a kind word into the life of another.  It's your support they need more than your judgement.

"Do not judge, and you will not be judged.
Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.
Forgive, and you will be forgiven."

~ Luke 6:37 NIV

PRAYER:
Father in the name of Jesus, help each of us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.  Help us to remember from whence we've come and to go back and set the captives free.  Lord increase our compassion.  Give us discernment to see what people are going through beyond what they say, what they do and how they act so that we may be able to support them even if its simply with a smile, a hug, a word of encouragement, being a mentor, taking on a child as our own even if they are not ours biologically.  Help us God to live a life that pleases you and attracts people to the light of Christ that dwells within us. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Worship...

I wake up every morning with praise and adoration on my lips to God for simply being who He is but worship is different...It's going deeper into God's presence to have a personal encounter with Him.  These songs were in my Spirit this morning so I want to share with you in hopes that you too have an encounter with God that is like no other!

Peace...Against ALL Odds

Peace...Against ALL Odds

 WORDS OF POEM IN VIDEO ABOVE
I wanna rest in peace, seems I don't rest at night. I wanna rest in Your arms for the rest of my life. When troubles come I won't be alarmed, cause I'm resting safely in Your loving arms. When troubles come I want them to tremble and flee at the very sight of Your reflection in me.

I'm not trying to boast, I don't want to brag but You do leave me no choice but to walk in this swag.
I'm a S-sanctified W-witness an A-agent of G-GOD's. Standing against darkness against all odds!

I know that I'm loved because when troubles come my mind rest and my thoughts are at ease. Truthfully Father, its You I aim to please. But with loud sounds to disrupt my ear gates and winds blowing ferociously trying to blind me from seeing the truth and the light, I squench my eyes and put my mouth on guard that I only speak life as You stand contending against every distraction knowing with You, I win, against all odds!

See I, walked by myself for so long, lost in darkness couldn't acknowledge my wrong. But now, there's a new place where I've been found, cleanse, re-made and set free from an unruly and restless life. Your the bridegroom and yes I'm ya wife! Funny thing is Your captivated by ME! The one made beautifully in Your image and in return I'm in deep reverence. Why! Simply because Your God. I've found my peace in You, against all odds!

SCRIPTURES:
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast,
because he trusts in you
~ Isaiah 26:3

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid
~ John 14:27 NIV

And the peace of The God, Who is greater than every mind,
will keep your hearts and your minds by Yeshua The Messiah
~ Philippians 4:7 APBE
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts.
For as members of one body you are called to live in peace.
And always be thankful
~ Colossians 3:15 NLT

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.
In this world you will have trouble. But take heart!
I have overcome the world
~ John 16:33

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank you for granting me peace in the midst of a chaotic world.  Thank you for giving a peace beyond what Men and Women can comprehend.  Lord, I now pray for the one reading this site asking that you would move on their hearts.  Help them come to know you in such a way that peace overwhelms them and joy fills them to the overflow! In Christ name I pray, Amen

A special thank you goes out to DJ OneLuv, Terry, Loretta & Darnita for inviting me to discuss the first book in The Embracing Me Project, "Hell & Heaven at 8" Sunday, September 2, 2012 on "Talk II Me TV Show".

Talk II Me TV Show

DEDICATION FROM "HELL & HEAVEN AT 8"
This book is dedicated to every young girl, woman and any male who experienced the discomforts and humiliation of watching family members, especially fathers and mothers, wast away, being consumed by drugs and alcohol. Equally, the book is dedicated to the neglected, abandoned and anyone who has ever suffered from sexual, physical, mental or verbal abuse; thus lacking self-love, self-esteem, self-worth and or self-respect.  To those whose minds were or still are consumed with the suicidal thoughts in hopes to rid yourself of the nightmares in reliving moments of pain over and over again. To those who still cry yourself to sleep at night wishing to turn back the hands of time.  To the victorious ones who exceeded the expectations of the disasters you lived through and are living a life complete from guilt and shame.
And certainly, this book is dedicated to those who struggle with your identity, unable to embrace the true you.

Do you know who you are?

Do you know who I am? More importantly, do you know who you are?

Many of us see but with skewed and blurred vision.  We look at one another but lack the ability to see who stands before us because we are unaware of who we are. So here I share not only who I AM but who WE are as children of the Most High God.

I AM beautiful ~ I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (Psalm 139:14 - NIV)

I AM courageous ~ Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged. (1 Chronicles 22:13 - ESV)

I AM victorious ~ for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4 - NIV)

I AM strong ~ Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. (Ephesians 6:10 - NLT)

I AM a saved ~ For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8)

I AM free ~ God is my protection. He makes my way free from fault. (2 Samuel 22:33 - NCV).
~ Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. (John 8:36 - NKJV)

I AM healed ~ But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 - NIV)

I AM new ~ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (1 Corinthians 5:17 - NKJV)

I AM complete ~ and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority (Colossians 2:10 - NASB)

I AM redeemed ~ Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13-14 - NKJV)

I AM blessed ~ Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord. (Psalm 128:4 - KJV)
~ And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 28:2 - KJV)

I AM forgiven ~ In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. (Ephesians 1:7 NKJV)
~ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 - ESV)

I AM chosen ~ You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain... (John 15:16 - NASB)

I AM God's child ~ I am born again of the incorruptible seed of the Word of God (1 Peter 1:23)

I AM a temple of God ~ Do you know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16 - NKJV)

I AM a Royal Priesthood ~ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9 - NIV)

I AM more than a conqueror ~ in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. (Romans 8:37 -NIV)

YOU ARE CREATED IN THE LIKENESS & IMAGE OF THE MOST HIGH GOD!
YOU ARE WONDERFULLY & BEAUTIFULLY MADE!

PRAYER:
God of light and love, help us to see ourselves and one another as You see us and as You have created us - in Your likeness and image. Renew our minds and remove the shadows that seek to overshadow what Your word speaks about us as Your children. Thank You Lord for loving us the way You do and for considering us. In Jesus Name, Amen

Quitting Church

Sometimes I just want to quit church!

Why you might ask?

Well, because I don't necessarily see "the church" or "church folk" doing what Gods word mandates. See, some people have become so "holy" that they need body guards.  They have become so "important" that they don't feel they need to listen to the one whom they considers to be the pion...you know, the one "less than them"...the one with little to no anointing according to those who have been "DOING" church so long that they know every demon, every spirit and are always right!

(You stubborn people! You have not given your hearts to God, nor will you listen to him! You are always against what the Holy Spirit is trying to tell you, just as your ancestors were.  Your ancestors tried to hurt EVERY prophet who ever lived...You received the law of Moses, which God gave you through his angels, but you haven't obeyed it. Acts 7:51-53)

Sometimes I just want to quit church!

Why?

Is it not obvious? When is the last time you have gone into the church, watched everyone bring what they have into the church later having the apostles, bishops, pastors, preachers, teachers, elders and so on turn and distribute to those in need.  Now I am not saying its not being done but it is not being done openly and NOT the way the word says we ought do it. First of all, who ask the people if they have needs?  We are so consumed with paying for a building that we forget that our mandate as the church is to take care of the needs of one another!

(All the believers were together and shared everything.  They would sell their land and the things they owned and then divide the money and give it to anyone who needed it.  The believers met together in the Temple everyday. They ate together in their homes, happy to share their food with joyful hearts. Acts 2:44-46)

(But the Most High does not live in houses that people build with their hands. As the prophet says: Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool.  So do you think you can build a house for me? says the Lord.  Do I need a place to rest? Remember, my hand made all these things! Acts 7:48-50)

Sometimes I just want to quit church!

You don't have to ask why again, I will volunteer my reasoning.  The church is a place of worship yet we come into the church with so much protocol that we forget to allow God to simply move by His power.  We invite God in and then shut Him out.  We shout out in loud voices and yet whisper about the person on the row in front of us who is jumping up and down praising God in a loud boisterous voice.  We hold grudges and talk about one another with one tongue and then turn with the same lips in the next breath and say we love God.

Do you know Stephen was lied on and accused of speaking ill of Moses and against God. They could not find any wrong with him so some "religious folk" conjured up stories against this blessed man of God but he kept his countenance and allowed the holy spirit to speak strong wise words to his accuser's. After which they still decided to kill Stephen, the one sent to be a blessing to them. Still Stephen cried out to God asking Him to forgive his accuser's as they stoned him to death. And then the religious folk buried him.

I encourage you to check me at my word read Acts 6:8-15 & Acts 7 entirely

You know, I love David because no matter what flaws he had, he loved even the one who tried to kill him.  David, even protected the one who tried to kill him.  David, forgave the one who tried to kill him.  David was a faithful servant. David was courageous.  David was humble. But most importantly, David always turned to God, submitting himself, bowing down to the great I AM never considering himself greater than God.  David admitted when he was wrong and prayed for forgiveness. David was a man of honor and strength.  He had great skill, ability and intellect but he relied on God!

Peter was a man of great commitment, passion and determination to serve the true and living God.  He would not bow down no matter what! He would not stop speaking Gods truth even when he was threatened to be whipped, jailed or killed.

I JUST WANT TO QUIT CHURCH AND SIMPLY DO THE WORK OF MY FATHER!!!

Paul said this: "I don't care about my own life.  The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work the Lord Jesus gave me - to tell people the Good News about God's grace..."

He goes on to say, "Be careful for yourselves and for all the people the Holy Spirit has given to you to oversee.  You must be like shepherds to the church of God which he bought with the death of his own Son.  I know that after I leave, some people will come like wild wolves and try to destroy the flock.  Also some from YOUR OWN GROUP will rise up and twist the truth and will lead away followers after them. So be careful!

Always remember that for three years, day and night, I never stopped warning each of you, and I often cried over you.  Now I am putting you in the care of God and the message about his grace.  It is able to give you strength, and it will give you the blessings God has for all his holy people" Acts 20: 24-32

PRAYER:
Father God in heaven, maker of all things, center of my heart, head of my life, foundation of all I know and believe, help me to walk upright as your servant.  Cleanse me that I NOT become wrapped up in religion, protocol and what makes "men" comfortable or satisfied but Lord, grant me the wisdom to walk according to the mandate of Your word that it may manifest all that you have promised.  I desire to function and operate as Your humble servant, with a holy boldness, remaining unafraid.  I desire to love unconditionally as You do. Lord, help me to forgive and forgive me for anything I have said or done that displeased your heart. Lead me, guide me, protect and keep me, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Squeeze me...

2 Corinthians 4

Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[a] made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”[ Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself. 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Marvin Sapp is singing the testimony of so many people...I know this for sure because we have all been hard pressed, pressured, suffered grief, loss, felt lonely, abandoned, insecure and maybe even that we would die in the midst of mental anguish, but instead God stepped in and provided the strength we needed to endure.  I made it and so can you!

PRAYER:
Lord, all we can simply say is thank you for allowing us to make it from day to day.  Bless those who at this time are on the verge of giving up.  Let your word be the source of encouragement they need, reminding them that you are God and God alone.  Thank you for changing the mind of the one considering suicide.  Thank you for renewing the mind of the one on the edge of a nervous break down.  Thank you for changing the heart of the one at the point of walking away from everything including children, marriage, family, school, that job, church and even those on the edge of aborting their purpose.  Give them rest for their weary souls and hope to persevere with you as their source of strength, contentment, joy, peace, happiness, love, support and the very breath of life. Thank you God for being gentle.  Send your comfort, In Jesus name I pray, Amen

I REALLY LOVE YOU...

How can I say I love God but not love my brothers and sisters whom I see each and everyday?  I most certainly have been one who spoke love from my lips but my heart really truly despised even the sight of the person to whom I spoke.  After seeking and searching, looking high and low for God...Yearning for God's love and acceptance (I really needed to be accepted)...Professing my love to God (ONLY because I wanted someone to profess their unconditional, unadulterated, pure love to me)...I finally realized His love for me is so much greater...God's love is so great that He not only gave His only begotten son for me (for us) but He loves me despite my ugliness.  God loves me despite all my flaws and faults.

When that pierced my spirit, when I opened to the reality that God looks beyond my blemishes and loves me anyway, I realized I have to love the same way as God...without pointing a finger...without regret...without fear of being hurt...without seeing the flaws of my neighbor...regardless of whether they love me back (YES, God loves us even when we deny Him...even when we don't and won't love Him).  Wow, what a revelation.  I can truly tell God I love Him now and mean it because I love my neighbors like I love Him and I love them the way I love me.

It wasn't easy LEARNING to love myself but I do and its easier to love yourself when you understand to whom you belong.  It is so much easier to love yourself when you can forgive yourself.  It is so much easier to love yourself when you have an intimate relationship with God who is Himself, LOVE! I love you Lord and I am so grateful you love me!

PRAYER:

God my Father, giver of life, friend to the friendless, comforter, supporter, encourager, hope to the hopeless, guard of my heart, lover of my soul, thank you for loving me right where I am.  Thank you for keeping me and bringing to the forefront of my spiritual mind that I am one of your beloved children.  Thank you for carrying me and for caring for me when I lacked love and strength. Thank you for building me in love, for love, to be love, created by Your great love! Bless those who desire real love but are not sure where to acquire what it is they seek.  Turn their hearts towards you.  Wrap them in Your loving arms that they may come to know you as the loving and gracious God you are.  In Jesus loving name I pray, Amen.

The Place From Which I Can NOT Move...

This morning, my spirit is so full of peace.
I am overflowing with a spirit of love.
I feel so close to God.
I am so grateful for this 40 day time of surrender and consecration.
It was only a few weeks ago that I felt alone, lost,
frustrated, confused and was on the brink of giving up
but here I am and I am still standing!
I feel so complete,
I feel freed...liberated,
I feel revived,
I feel more confident in God & my purpose,
I feel like going on but most of all, I feel loved...
I feel the purely authentic love of God saturating my being!

This place is where I am and I can NOT move!
As you listen to the songs below I pray they minister to you as they continue ministering to me.
May you get caught up in the arms of God, never desiring to go back to empty, loveless places!
May the God of peace, hope, joy and abundance saturate your spirit to the overflow with more of HIM.

Part Translation or at least the gist for above:
Am I living, long enough to love you,
All my life, I will praise thee,
Yes thou art just what I love,
When I call upon thee, thou will answer,
When I fall, thou will protect me,
Thou art good so good for me, I will praise thee ever,
Thou art the source of life and hope
Thou art the love of life,
The one that is my great redempter...

GOD IS GOD!!!

LOOK!!!!!!!!

LOOK!!!
For new is my appearance...
The doors opened to me...
No longer shall I deny but I receive...
My lips are swollen...
Ready to pour out...
As my heart now opens to purity...
Cleansed and now whole...
My head drips with fresh oil...
A quickening captures my soul...
My eyes sought and now my soul has found...
LOOK!!!!!!!! Changed!

Song of Solomon 1:2-4, 15-17
Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth:
for thy love is better than wine
because of the savour of thy good ointments
thy name is as ointment poured forth,
therefore do the virgins love thee
draw me, we will run after thee:
the king hath brought me into his chambers:
we will be glad and rejoice in thee,
We will remember thy love more than wine:
the upright love thee...

Behold, thou art fair, my love;
behold, thou art fair; thou has doves eyes
Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant:
also our bed is green
The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir

Song of Solomon 2:4-6, 10-14
He brought me to the banqueting house,
and his banner over me was love
Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples;
for I am sick of love
His left hand is under my head,
and his right hand doth embrace me...

My beloved spake, and said unto me,
Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away
For, lo, the winter is past,
the rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth;
the time of the singing of birds is come,
and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;

The fig tree putteth forth her green figs,
and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell.
Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock,
in the secret places of the stairs,
let me see thy countenance,
let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice,
and thy countenance is comely

A humble place...

When I consider all I have done that was contrary to how I was created...

When I consider all I have spoken that was contrary to how I ought speak...

When I consider all I thought that was contrary to how I should think...

When I consider all the roads I have traveled that was contrary to the places I should have been...

As I consider these things, I humble myself, knowing life could be so different for me...

As I think of the various outcomes that could have come to pass due to my thinking, the things I spoke...in essence, due to my contrary living -- All I can do is humble myself before the throne of God and thank Him for being gracious but especially for being merciful.
